Korean Chemical Industry Business Forum 2019
Following the success of last year’s Chemical Seminar, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in Brussels in partnership with essenscia (Association of the chemical and life sciences industry in Belgium) has the pleasure to invite you to the Korean Chemical Industry Business Forum on 20 June in Brussels.
This event will focus on updates of the amended Act on Registration and Evaluation of Chemical Substances of Korea (K-REACH), promulgated in March 2018 and effective on January 1, 2019. Representatives from the KTR (Korea Testing & Research Institute) will take you through the changes of K-REACH and you will receive greater insights in Korea’s growing chemical industry. During the seminar a separate individual consultation will be run by the KTR in another space. If you would like to have one on one consultation, please check the box on the application form.
As a non-profit government agency with 125 offices in 83 countries, Kotra promotes international commerce and investment since its creation in 1962 and dedicates itself for the prosperity between Korea and foreign partners.
For over thirty years, Belgium has been sharing technical know-how with Korea and benefited from great opportunities in the chemical industries. Partnerships with major Belgian companies including Solvay and Umicore have helped create sustainable businesses in the chemical sector, one of Korea’s main industries.
This seminar provides you with a unique opportunity to learn industrial response strategies for rapidly changing chemical regulations and reinforce business collaboration with Korea.
